Reflection: The project that I created allowed me to examine the effectiveness of use from the teacher's perspective and gain insight of how the students would respond to the digital tool. The project allowed me to model and facilitate innovative digital-age work and learning experiences which meets one of the standards. The product also helps promote success for students in a global and digital world. Evernote allows the student to explore a digital organizational tool that includes areas for them to locate, analyze, evaluate and manage information in the classroom. The tool was used to inspire student learning and creativity by allowing them to explore a new way to organize information they have learned and include collaboration by sharing with their peers through a discussion board format. The information stored in Evernote can be used to facilitate thinking to solve real world issues and authentic problems.

The project helped students have a digital accountability tool. The Evernote program is designed to include all the necessary requirements for classroom learning. The students have easy access to note taking tools, embed further information on a topic, and easy transfer of information to presentation mode for those who learn better in that format. In the science classroom, the science notebook has become a valuable tool for helping students organize their learning by topic, page and including diagrams to help support their learning of content. Evernote becomes the digital form of that tool.
